Ann Marie Casey was introduced to the world of photography during her formative years in Northeastern Pennsylvania, but it was in Philadelphia where her passion truly flourished. Immersed in a dynamic educational environment at AIPH, she honed her skills and expertise under the mentorship of esteemed photographers from Philadelphia to New York City, specializing in fashion, portraiture, and designer wedding photography.
With a career spanning various roles in the photography industry, including as a medical photographer for the University of Pennsylvania, Ann Marie established Ann Marie Casey Photography, LLC in 2010. Her artistic vision has garnered widespread acclaim, with her work featured in prestigious publications such as O Magazine, Main Line Today, Decibel, and Dance Style Magazine. Renowned for her evocative style and global reach, Ann Marie has captured the essence of clients in Philadelphia and beyond, elevating her craft to an unparalleled level of artistry.
Driven by a passion for photography and a love of travel, Ann Marie’s lens has traversed the globe, from the historic streets of Europe to the vibrant landscapes of Jamaica, all while showcasing her work in art exhibitions and private collections.
Aside from her photography career, Ann Marie finds joy and inspiration in her family life. She credits her family’s unwavering support as a driving force behind her creative pursuits. In her leisure time, she enjoys creating memories with her loved ones and exploring new adventures together.
Fun Fact:
Sunrise Lifestyle Sessions were created by her oldest daughter Serena. During their annual trip to the beach in August 2020 Serena wanted to watch the sunrise. She asked her mom to watch her play in the cool sand and warm salt water. The peace of the morning inspired Ann Marie the following year to bring her camera. Now it is tradition to photograph both her daughters, Serena and Harley, every year dressed up and play on the beach as the sun rises.
Senior Associate Photographer
Maura McConnell’s love affair with photography began her junior year of high school when she got her first camera and was immediately drawn to taking pictures.
In college, Maura parleyed this interest into a fine art minor while honing her skills traveling abroad in all sorts of environments.
After college she was given the opportunity to shoot professionally for The Hill Newspaper in Washington, DC where she rose to the rank of Photo Editor developing both technically and stylistically in the highly competitive, action packed world of photojournalism.
Yearning to travel again, Maura enlisted in the Peace Corps and spent two years in Senegal, West Africa. Although her professional career was on hold, she was able to refine her candid style and capture some beautiful moments in the village and surrounding locations.
Maura’s professional experience resumed upon her return when she took a job with Rosen Publishing in New York City. As Staff Photographer, she was responsible for photographically illustrating children’s educational books.
Today, Maura is able to combine all of her experience into an amazing career as a photographer. Maura teaches photography to adults and teenagers at the Wallingford Art Center and the YMCA and photographs events with a unique candid flare.
